> Mobile ICT Project
in partnership with MindShare
Sustainability is one of the core values of Fields of Dreams Uganda. We are constantly on the lookout for ways to employ more Ugandans and generate income to further our work of providing hope, empowerment and a future to the vulnerable children of Uganda through the vehicles of soccer and education. Since 2015, MindShare has assisted us by bringing innovative technology solutions to our partner schools in Uganda. With a great need that goes far beyond our partner schools, we will be launching a new Mobile ICT project in 2022. We are preparing to bring the great work that we have already been doing for our impoverished partner schools and offering these same services to schools and families that are willing to pay for these services.
Our team on the ground in Uganda is busy working on creating a technology curriculum for all primary levels that will be both engaging and educational. We are currently in conversations with well-developed host schools that lack the technology equipment of their own in Wakiso district and are ready and willing to pay for these services. This opportunity will allow us to offer 3 more full-time jobs in Uganda and has the potential to create great profit margins. What excites us most is how easily this model can be replicated in years to come to serve additional host schools and regions across Uganda.
Your donations that will be matched up to $15,000 by MindShare will help us get everything that is needed to get this sustainable project off the ground in 2022. This includes a Mobile ICT vehicle, 30 laptops, 30 tablets, 2 quality projectors, and many other smaller items to launch this exciting project. We are beyond thankful to Joe Winkles and Ravi Budruk for their continued partnership and investment in our work and the bright and capable children of Uganda.
