Fields of Dreams Uganda's work is carried out by our employees, board members and volunteers. FoDU Advocates are a key part of our volunteer team — think of them as "super volunteers."

FoDU Advocates commit to serving the children of Uganda through supporting our campaigns and spreading our message throughout their communities.



Advocates commit to the following:

• Serving as an Advocate for a full calendar year

• Attending quarterly training calls

• Participating in our fundraiser campaigns

  • Hoops for Hope March Madness Bracket Challenge (March)

  • Power Their Potential (our Ekisa Scholarship Fund, in May)

  • Holiday Hygiene Drive (our Girl Empowerment project, in December)

• Participating in the Dresses for Dreams Global 5K (November)

  • Committing to run/walk/participate at one of our race hubs or as a satellite runner

  • Recruiting friends, family and your community to participate with you

• Hosting one event in their local community

  • To share FoDU's work with your circle of influence (Happy Hour, trip recruitment event or Hope Marketplace sale)

FoDU's advocates are not alone; our Executive Director, Advocate Coordinator and the entire Board of Directors are always available to use as a resource or a sounding board and to provide encouragement.
